No. The protocol for this (in the Netherlands) changed some years ago. Baby bottles and baby products no longer need to be sterilised. Baby bottles and teats do not need to be sterile before use, but do need to be nice and clean. Cleaning the bottles and teats in the dishwasher will suffice. Bush the screw thread of the bottles clean first: protein left over from the food coagulates at 40 degrees and can damage your bottle. You can also hand wash your bottles. First rinse your bottle and teat with cold water. Then wash them with washing-up liquid, hot water and a brush. Dry the parts thoroughly after washing. If you do decide to sterilise, do so according to the instructions provided in the product user guide.
