Our baby bottles, drinking cups and pacifiers are made of polypropylene and silicone. These materials are free of substances such as Bisphenol A (BPA). Difrax does not mention this on the packaging because since 2011 BPA in baby and drinking utensils, such as bottles and cups, has been legally prohibited anyway. A statement about this can be seen as misleading and confusing. For this reason, a claim 'BPA Free' is prohibited in some European countries.
We therefore do not make such claims on our packaging.
Pacifiers do not have to be BPA-free according to this specific legislation, but we have chosen to also produce the pacifiers from BPA-free material.
So you can rest assured that all baby bottles, drinking cups and pacifiers that you buy in the (web) shops are BPA free.
