In collaboration with a team of medical specialists in lactation, neonatology, and speech therapy, Difrax has launched a special Dynamic pacifier collection under the name Difrax Lovi. The Dynamic pacifier protects your baby’s natural sucking reflex. This is especially beneficial for babies who are breastfed, as it prevents nipple confusion and is safe to use.
In addition to our Natural collection, Difrax has developed a special "Dynamic" collection that protects the natural sucking reflex and prevents nipple confusion. The nipple part of the Dynamic pacifier is different from the Natural Difax pacifier: it's made up of multiple layers of durable silicone. Thanks to its unique, flexible design, the pacifier moves with your baby’s sucking rhythm. This works in the following way:
- When your baby makes a sucking motion, the nipple part of the pacifier stretches. This provides extra support for your baby’s mouth and jaw muscles.
- After the sucking motion, the direction of the mouth and jaw muscles changes, causing the nipple part to contract back to its neutral position, just like during breastfeeding.
- With each subsequent sucking motion, the pacifier continues to support the coordination of sucking, swallowing, and breathing to optimally protect the sucking reflex.
The symmetrical shape of the nipple resembles a mother’s nipple and guarantees a high acceptance rate. The material is made of high-quality silicone, free from odor and taste, making it extra safe for babies. Unlike rubber pacifiers, silicone prevents unnecessary external stimuli as there is no detectable taste or smell. This is especially important for sensitive babies and ensures a feeling of security pacifier use.
