At the bottom of the S-bottle, you will find the valve. Take it in your hands, pinch the middle of the raised edge, and push the ends together. You can also push back once with a finger in the raised section. A small slit will appear (see photo below).
Always check that the valve is open before feeding. After cleaning, the valve may have closed again. Ensure the valve is thoroughly dry before placing it back in the bottom ring. Press the valve firmly into the bottom ring and do not overtighten the bottom of the bottle; hand-tightening is sufficient! Overtightening can affect the bottle's performance and may even cause leakage.
If the S-bottle creates a vacuum, it usually means the valve at the bottom is not working correctly. For the anti-colic S-bottle to function properly, it is essential that the air hole in the valve is open.
Cleaning Tip:
During cleaning, you can easily remove the anti-colic valve under the tap. Unscrew the bottom of the bottle and hold it upside down under running water. Thanks to the holes in the bottom of the bottle, the water will hit the valve and release it easily. You can also tap the valve out of the bottom.
